Technology To Offer Webcasts On Business Intelligence Portals
Webcasts Are First In a Series Featuring New and Innovative
Technologies

firms, today announced the first in a series of new Webcasts
targeted to decision-making executives. The Webcasts will
be held weekly. Webcasts, which are live meetings over the
Internet, are an increasingly popular form of broadcast incorporating
both audio and visual components and make ideal venues for
demonstrations.
The first session, scheduled for October 4, 2005 is on Business
Intelligence Portal Solutions. This Webcast focuses on BI
Portal solutions that provide real time analysis capabilities
and delivery of key performance indicators for senior business
managers. BI Portal solutions enable business decision makers
to choose key business data, ad hoc analysis, and presentation
of information in a format that can be customized by the individual
user. Types of data, typically coming from disparate systems,
include financial, operational, HR and customer information.

using them. These solutions use SharePoint Portal Server 2003,
SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services and Reporting Services to
create highly cost effective applications that save tens of

costs.
