Technology Consultant - Network Engineer
Job
Description
Insource Technology is seeking a Network Engineers working in Houston,
TX. The right person for the job will have 3- 7 years experience
in, server, network and workstation support in the Microsoft-centric,
team-oriented environment. An MCSE is a plus.
The candidate must have a "team member" attitude and also
have a superior customer relations approach. Good organization,
communication, problem solving, and writing skills are also essentials
for success. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003, Microsoft
Exchange 2003, Active Directory, and Veritas Backup Exec along with
a system level understanding of MS Office applications is required.
Experience in implementing these technologies through well defined
projects is highly desirable. Additional experience with SAN technology,
Blade Servers, HP Insight Manager, anti-Spam/Virus software, Firewalls
and wide-area technology is highly desirable.
Job Duties
Maintain
global active directory infrastructure. Create and maintain user
accounts. Setting and maintaining GPO's. Design, coordinate and
support an international backup scheme using Veritas BackupExec.
Maintain file replication and disaster recovery technology. Ensure
backup, recovery and disaster recovery process and procedures. Work
on special IT projects. Continually evaluate the LAN/WAN to make
necessary modifications and upgrades to keep the systems running
at an optimal level.
Support
escalated help desk issues. Establish network specifications by
conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information,
and security requirements.
This full time position is located in Houston, TX. Sorry, no relocation
assistance. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
