Opportunities - Senior Technical Consultants (STCs): Network Engineer II

Senior Technical Consultants (STCs) for the Enterprise Infrastructure division of Insource will work either on-site at client locations or on projects at the corporate office. They are responsible for architecting, implementing and managing IT infrastructure solutions for Insource clients..

Experience and Knowledge

Good customer service skills
Excellent communications skills
Deep knowledge of and experience with networking technologies from various vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Meru and Aruba
Strong knowledge of and experience with enterprise wireless network technologies
Knowledge and experience with voice technologies and Microsoft Server technologies is desirable
Self-motivated

Qualifications

Education:	The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree from a four-year college or university. Must have Cisco CCNP certification at a minimum.
Experience:	Ideal background includes extensive experience architecting, implementing and managing complex IT network infrastructure solutions.
Skills/Abilities:	Must have significant technical expertise with designing and implementing enterprise level LAN and WAN infrastructure solutions. Should be an SME for OSI layer 1 through 4 protocols and standards, including T1, T3, Ethernet, HSRP, VRRP, VLAN, OSPF, EIGRP, ACLs, Policy Based Routing, route redistribution, 802.11x, TCP/IP and UDP. Must be able to act as an SME for wireless technologies and network-based IT security solutions. Experience in all network services, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, intrusion detection and prevention, bandwidth shaping, and monitoring and management is required. Experience and expertise with Microsoft Server technologies is highly desirable.

Working Conditions

Business office environment. Regular hours, though some additional hours may be necessary to complete projects on time.
